TOP 5 WEDNESDAY – Books You Read in One Sitting (or close to)

Since I’m very new to this blogging thing, I was very excited to discover the Top 5 Wednesday group on Goodreads. I have to give a special shout-out to Aimal over at Bookshelves & Paperbacks for posting her own Top 5 and getting me super excited about one more thing I can add to my very new blog.

So, here are my top 5 books that I have read in one sitting (or close to it).

5. Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble by H.P. Mallory

This is the first book in the Jolie Wilkins series. I was pretty obsessed with it for awhile. My husband felt like he was competing with Rand for about a year. One of my favorite book boyfriends.

Find it here on Goodreads!

4. Dare to Kiss by S.B. Alexander

This is the first book in the Maxwell series. It had two things I love in a good romance story: super sexy protective guy and tough, independent girl. The writing and plot were awesome. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

3. Don’t Mention The Rock Star by Bree Darcy

I’m a sucker for stories where the characters go back to their first loves to see if maybe the timing is right this time. And this book was just perfect. I loved everything about it.

2. August Fog by A.L. Goulden

This is the first in the series. Yes, it was hot and steamy, and yes, I absolutely loved it. I had to reread this one a couple times. The rest of the series is equally amazing.

1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Of course, this is #1. I locked myself in my bedroom to read this. I was pretty much dead to the world. Absolutely amazing book. I don’t care what haters say about it. I love it.

Find it here on Goodreads!

These were all SO hard to put down. Definitely check these out if you haven’t already.

  1. Aw, thanks so much for the shoutout! So glad you decided to join, and I look forward to future posts! I actually haven’t read any of these, except The Fault in Our Stars, which I devoured. Contemporaries and cute romances are the best when they’re read quickly. 😀 Great post! x
